The Vertical Autoclave Wing-Nut is a fully automatic steam sterilizer designed for reliable, efficient, and safe sterilization in microbiology laboratories, hospitals, QC and research laboratories, pharmaceutical industries, and other demanding laboratory environments. Its vertical triple-wall construction, stainless steel working chamber, microprocessor-based control, and comprehensive safety systems provide consistent sterilization performance and ease of operation.
The autoclave features a SS 316 working chamber with 3 mm thickness, a 1 mm stainless steel outer cover, and stainless steel lid flange and bottom sheet. All joints are argon welded for enhanced strength and durability. A jointless silicone gasket and heavy-duty industrial flange heater ensure effective sealing and efficient heating during the sterilization cycle.
The fully automatic model automatically maintains the required temperature and pressure through a microprocessor-based digital controller. Automatic air purging, digital timing, steam exhaust, and low-water-level cut-off simplify operation and improve process reliability. The PT-100 temperature sensor provides accurate temperature measurement, with a sterilization temperature range of 121°C to 125°C, resolution of 0.1°C, and accuracy of ±0.5°C.
The unit operates within a pressure range of 15–22 PSI, with the factory setting at 15 PSI. A 0–30 PSI pressure gauge, spring-loaded safety valve, and steam release valve provide effective pressure monitoring and protection. The chamber is hydraulically tested at 60 PSI to verify pressure integrity.
For enhanced operator safety, the autoclave includes chamber and jacket safety valves, an automatic purging system, Water Level Control (WLC) for heater protection, separate water inlet and drainage ball valves, a pressure release valve, and an audio-visual alarm for cycle completion. A gauge glass enables convenient monitoring of the water level.
Optional thermal printing with F₀ value calculation, 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, and SCADA integration are available for applications requiring process documentation, electronic records, and advanced monitoring.
